Atheists Can’t Hold Public Office

Over the past couple of years, atheism has been slowly taking root in most countries. The U.S is considered the land of the free, and people can believe in whatever religion they want to. However, in Texas, atheists can hold public office. For one to hold public office in any part of Texas, the law stipulates that the said person must believe in a Supreme Being. It’s still unclear whether this law is constitutional, but it still doesn’t make sense.
