Did you know that Walt Disney perfected his drawing and cartoon animation skills while in the army? During World War 1, Walt Disney desperately wanted to join the army but was far too young to enlist. Therefore, he faked his birth certificate and eventually served as an ambulance driver for the Red Cross military wing. He later created instructional videos and propaganda cartoons for the Army during World War II, just two years after Disney films released its first animation movie.
