This scandal started in 2011, when Anthony Weiner was found out to be sending explicit photos and messages to several women on more than one occasion. The media was quick to find out about any scandal surrounding Weiner. The scandal caused conflict for Clinton’s 2016 presidential run. Weiner divorced his wife, Huma Abedin, and resigned from Congress. The drama surrounding Weiner continued in 2017, when he accidentally tweeted a picture of his privates.  He was later sentenced to 21 months in prison in September, 2017.
