With restaurants filing for bankruptcy in the wake of the pandemic, Chuck E. Cheese’s was arguably the largest retail chain outlet to do so. A couple of months ago, Chuck E. Cheese filed for bankruptcy and followed up that decision by closing almost 50 outlets in major towns. 50 stores might seem minute compared to the over 500 stores still operational, but the thing to note here is that the company has accumulated over $1 billion in debt since 2014.
