The American actress is 5’10” and is best known for her role as Serena van der Woodsen in the teen drama Gossip Girl. The budding actress began her acting career at the age of 10; she made a minor appearance in the 1998 movie Sandman which was directed by her father. Initially, she was not particularly interested in acting and wanted to attend Stanford University. She filmed her scenes for The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants between her junior and senior years. The actress has gone on to star in major movies such as Green Lantern and A Simple Favour.
