12. Chihuahua
You wouldn’t think the chihuahua would be one of our favorites, but them being the smallest dog breed in the world makes them arguably one of the cutest. Adult chihuahuas weigh up to 6 pounds, making them easy to pick up or tote around when out of the home. They also come in a variety of colors, allowing owners to pick the perfect chihuahua aesthetic for them. While personalities differ with all dogs, chihuahuas are known to be excitable pups that need to tire themselves out before snuggling up with their owner.
