11. Shih Tzu
Shih Tzus are a personal favorite of ours and are great for all types of owners. Known as the chrysanthemum dog due to their adorable round faces, this toy dog breed originated from China, as hinted at by the name. Shih Tzus are friendly people-dogs that can get along with almost anyone, and often live long, healthy lives at low maintenance costs. One downside to these playful pups is their bark; they can be noisy little things that are triggered by the slightest movement.
