10. Beagle
Beagles are a perfect dog breed for people with land. Even with their small stature – around 1 foot tall – they are robust, requiring plenty of outdoor space to run around. Beagles are also very smart and loyal, quickly bonding with owners and never leaving their side. Originally bred as a scent hound for hunting, beagles can become easily distracted while outdoors, so make sure to keep an eye on the little guy. Beagles require patient owners though; they’re known to hound incessantly out of loneliness or boredom.
