Football is Worshiped in Texas
The only thing comparable to football in Texas is religion. Texans would rather reschedule Halloween than miss a game. In 2014, a town in Decatur was at a crossroads when Halloween coincided with a local Friday night football match. Locals took a vote, and Halloween was moved to October 30th instead of October 31st, 2014. The below pictured stadium would rival stadiums owned by professional NFL teams when in fact, this stadium belongs to the Allen High School football team. That’s how big football is in Texas.
